Department of Journalism and Audiovisual Communication Patricia González Aldea holds a bachelor degree in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid, an M.A. in Spanish National Radio, a Ph.D. in International Relations from the Complutense University of Madrid, and a Course of National Defence from the Higher Centre of Studies of National Defence (CESEDEN) (2009). Patricia González Aldea is an Associate Professor at the Department of Journalism and Audiovisual Communication at Carlos III University of Madrid, where she teaches several subjects like, International Journalism. Her thesis about Romania was published in 2003 by the Complutense University of Madrid. She has been a member of the International Editorial Board of the Revue des Sciences Politiques, of the University of Craiova (Romania). She owns a certificate of advance-level on the Romanian Language from the Official Language School of Madrid. She has spent research and teaching stays in Romania and Lithuania. She has attended programmes of specialization in the Prague Security Studies Institute (PSSI), in the Neuwaldegg Institute of Vienna, and has participated as a Civilian Role Player in the training exercise of the NATO "Joint Sword" of the 1st German/Netherlands NATO Corps HQ, in Wildflecken, Germany. Her lines of research have focused on European and Euro-Atlantic expansion, with publications in national and International magazines and a book in Romanian language. Romanian Immigration in Spain is the subject of her latest research. |
