Professor of Radio Language Theory and Technique at the Abat Oliba CEU University of Barcelona. Javier Sierra-Sanchez holds a Ph.D. (with distinction) in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid; an M.A. in Marketing and Corporate Communications from San Jorge University; and a B.A. Degree in Audiovisual Communication and Journalism from the Complutense University of Madrid. He is an expert in International Public Relations recognized by the Complutense University of Madrid, and an expert in National and International Protocol and ceremonial recognized by the University of Oviedo and the Diplomatic School of Madrid. He has worked as a Professor at the Complutense University of Madrid, and San Jorge University of Zaragoza. He has written several articles on Educomunication for various scientific journals (like Zer, Ámbitos, Revista de comunicación, Doxa, etc.). He has presented numerous papers at national and international seminars and conferences. He has participated in several research projects funded by Spain’s Ministry of Education and Science, MEC, and the Complutense University of Madrid. It has been a research fellow for the FPI of the Complutense University of Madrid. He is the principal researcher of the Research Body on University Education in Communication (GIFUCOM). He is founding member of Icono 14 magazine.
