<meta name="DC.Description" lang="en" content=“Revista Latina de Comunicación Social, RLCS, is a scientific journal edited at the University of La Laguna, ULL (Tenerife, Canary Islands) in the Laboratory of Information Technologies and New Analysis of Communication, LATINA according to its initials in Spanish, founded in 1987 by Dr. José Manuel de-Pablos-Coello, under the protection of special doctorate programmes for Latin American professors. The journal publishes under the main summary almost exclusively research papers written following the formula IMR&DC+B: introduction, methodology, results and discussion plus conclusion, with a updated bibliography: at least 70% of the bibliographic entries must be from the past 10 years and half of them from scientific journals in Spanish and English languages. Reviewers make a double blind peer examination. This is a collective and inter-university project, including many professors and researchers from almost all Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries. The journal is the following databases: EBSCO (USA), DOAJ (Lund University, Sweden), Redalyc (Mexico), Dialnet (Spain); and is indexed by the CINDOC-CSIC in DICE, ISOC, RESH, Office of Latin American Education, OEI according to its initials in Spanish; Dulcinea, etc. In Spain the journal is a reference in the Directory of Index of Spanish Periodicals of Social and Communication Sciences, IN-RECS, of the University of Granada, UGR. RLCS occupies the first position in the cumulative index for the periods 2003-2007; 2004-2008 and the year 2008.”/>

<meta name="DC.contributor.referee I" content="The article addresses an area that could be qualified as emerging in the field of communication studies: a revaluation of the importance placed on the communication management in organizations. This is an important article because it addresses the strategic consideration afforded to communication in third sector organisations and therefore studies the actions of the organisations that are linked to the organised civil society. The article is particularly relevant at this time when the global crisis has forced the social actors to adopt new forms of interaction. The study has a good theoretical basis, with referential data that rightly contextualise the object of study basis and provide reflections from an analytical perspective, that may serve as the basis for future studies on third sector organisations and, in general, for the analysis of the communication flows and strategies of social actors in complex societies, as it is currently the case of Mexico. The article is based on a suitable bibliography, which makes it an interesting proposal. Therefore, I recommend its publication without changes. <meta name="DC.description.abstract" content="Abstract: The organizations of the Third Sector favor the social development due to their capacity to produce human capital and share capital in a society (Putman, 2001). This implies a positive change in the relations of individuals, groups and institutions in a society, in order to reach the social welfare. To world-wide level the expectations on the capacity of answer to the social problems and the transparency of the OTS go in increase. In Mexico, this problematic one is more complex, since it is necessary to face the little professionalisation, the low level of transparency and surrender of accounts and a weak culture of the participation in the organized civil society (ITAM 2010). Before this, it is necessary to indicate that the development of the organized civil society will depend to a great extent on its capacity to communicate its values to the Mexican society and of obtaining a change of articles of incorporation and cultural. Reason why, the OTS must take strategic initiatives that they reinforce the confidence and the reputation; with donors more and more demanding public and deprived in its criteria to select projects and to grant resources; with a little participating society; and finally, with problematic social more and more complex."/>
